BAILING OUT BOOKSELLERS. Here's another example of a rapid response to help people in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina: On Thursday, the American Booksellers Association (ABA) announced the formation of a Booksellers Relief Fund to support independent booksellers affected by the storm, according to the website Bookselling this Week. The ABA is also willing to help displaced booksellers find new employment and/or places to live.
