LOSER'S NEWS. Next up for Loser's Lounge: "the quirky and romantic music of Roxy Music and Brian Eno" at Joe's Pub from December 1-3, 2005. Tickets can be ordered from Telecharge but you can probably save on service charges by getting them at the Joe's Pub/Public Theater box office.

As mentioned previously, on February 11, 2006 the Loser's Lounge revives its signature event: a Burt Bacharach tribute. It's part of the American Songbook series at Lincoln Center.

A funny thing about the way Lincoln Center promotes the series on its website: It touts "thrilling baritones," "soaring sopranos," and — get this — "kick-ass bluegrass." Oh, behave!
