CARTOON CAPTION/ANTI-CAPTION CONTEST FREEZEOUT. Captionland is awfully quiet today. (Something about the time of year, I suppose.) Anyway, last week Dan Radosh announced his winner a little later than usual, so now I can at least record the fact that the winner of The New Yorker Cartoon Anti-Caption Contest #32 (man in bunny suit in office environment) was Simon H with the very true-to-life
"What the fuck? Classic moment! Classic moment."
My losers were
"His one mistake was not wearing a parrot."

"Look at his stiff ears. They're embarrassing to everyone."

"He had to take his suit to the dry cleaners after the parrot crapped on it. The three men on the board wanted him to stay but the four women voted him out. And now the minotaur wants to meet him at the bar."
Things should pick up again in a week.
