TRANSIT STRIKE ENDING! Gothamist and WNYC are both reporting that the strike is over while contract negotiations will continue. It's not clear when the buses and trains will run again. As for when they'll ever run efficiently, don't hold your breath (any more than you normally would on mass transit).

So now it's time for all the Ralph Kramdens to go back to work. I hope they get a good deal.
