CINDY SHEEHAN UPDATE. It seems that Cindy Sheehan was not arrested for unfurling a banner, as CNN initially reported. And she wasn't arrested for wearing no pants, either. She was arrested for wearing a shirt...a shirt with an "anti-war slogan," which is how AP put it initially.

The slogan, according to Sheehan at truthout:
"2245 Dead. How many more?"
Exposing the slogan was apparently construed "unlawful conduct" because it constituted demonstrating or protesting in the Capitol, a misdemeanor. Perhaps the slogan should have been on a giant pin or ribbon.

Laurie Kellman of AP reports that Beverly Young, wife of Republican Representative C. W. Young of Florida, was also escorted out of the gallery for wearing a T-shirt with a slogan:
"Support the Troops - Defending Our Freedom."
Sheehan was taken away by police but Young, apparently, did not suffer that treatment.

USA Today's blog On Deadline is keeping tabs on all this.
