CRITICAL MASS TONIGHT. As reported in The Village Voice, a State Supreme Court judge recently rebuked city law enforcement for hassling Critical Mass bicyclists, so perhaps a less confrontational approach will characterize tonight's event. That would be nice! If the conflicts continue, Norman Siegel suggests that City Council members participate in the ride to "see what's really going on."

The City Council on Wheels? I'm sure the exercise would be healthy, but let's hope things don't descend to that terrifying level!
