CRITICAL MASS UPDATE. Encouraging news: WCBS-TV reports that tonight's Critical Mass bike ride went relatively smoothly, though a number of bicyclists received summons. I guess it's good that those bicyclists weren't arrested; I think the word "de-escalation" came up in the newscast.
