FAREWELL, BETTY FRIEDAN. AP reports that Betty Friedan has died of congestive heart failure today, her 85th birthday. Just yesterday, the American Heart Association asked people to wear red to recognize that heart disease is the top killer of women in the United States. Ladies, take care of yourselves!
