WHERE WAS I? Debbie graciously gave the "okay" for puzzle action this week, so here we go!
Guess where I was using the puzzle clue below. Activate the puzzle by moving your cursor over it and post your guesses in the Comments section.

Looking at a diorama within the Museum of Natural History?
Moving from Wave Hill (Scott's opening guess, which went down the Blogger memory hole) to the Museum of Natural History? Definitely getting warmer!
i continue to have no clue, without another clue
The central park zoo???
Getting warmer!
A tree jail?
Getting cooler. Keep on moving in the right direction and you'll have more than a ghost of a chance...and I'll even tell you why.
Blind guess from Uruguay is Strawberry Fields.
some sort of ghost-y dome thing south of the cpz?
we need debbie!
Strawberry Fields: much colder.
South of the Central Park Zoo: colder, too.
It's in Manhattan, though.
I'm surprised Debbie didn't get it. Must be something about Uruguay....
Keep on guessing!
ok well the only thing i can think of is it's something in that weird rockefeller institute place all the way east.
or indoor tennis courts.
and debbie's useless.
we need snowbunny!
You're very very very warm!!!
Finesse it.
The aviary at the Queens Zoo?
Cold. It's not in that part of Manhattan....
The Caspary Auditorium at Scott's "rockefeller institute place all the way east" named for "someone who became known, in part, for
giving away dimes".
But somehow I don't feel very satisfied in discovering all this.
Check this out for details. It's at the bottom of the map.
Congrats, David...you're hot! Scott deserves much credit for bringing up Rockefeller University/Institute in the first place, but David is the one who committed to it and identified Caspary Auditorium, which has a very photogenic interior.
So...what will the next format be?
