BLOG ABOUT YANKEES. Two nights ago the Yankees came back from a 9-0 deficit to beat the Rangers, 14-13, in the biggest comeback in Yankees history. Jorge Posada was the game's hero, hitting the game-winning homer.

Last night, thanks to a friend's generosity, I checked out the Yankees myself. They played a strong game, managing to squeeze out five consecutive hits with two outs to produce three runs in the fifth inning. Posada, who was welcomed back with enthusiastic cheers, played a key role in the 4-3 victory. The crowd roared as reliever Manuel Rivera closed the game in the ninth inning, polishing off the Rangers 1-2-3.

The evening was a lot of fun, but we were disappointed not to get the Joe DiMaggio statuette giveaways. How come everyone else seemed to get them? We were also mystified by Yankee Stadium. Last night it was much bigger inside than it seemed to be on the outside! On the plus side, we lucked out after the game because we managed to exit the stadium on a magical uncrowded ramp, unlike the packed ramp right next to us. If Yankee Stadium ever goes down, will the magical uncrowded ramp go with it?
