IT'S GEORGE BUSH'S 60TH BIRTHDAY! So what's today's birthday boy been up to lately? Only yesterday he spoke of the importance of assimilation at a Dunkin' Donuts in Alexandria.
"We need to make sure we help people assimilate. I met four people here who assimilated into our country. They speak English; they understand the history of our country; they love the American flag as much as I love the American flag," said Bush, according to The White House website. "That's one of the great things about America, we help newcomers assimilate. Here's four folks that are living the American Dream, and I think it helps renew our soul and our spirit to help people assimilate."
Besides championing assimilation at a Dunkin' Donuts, what else has the President managed to accomplish in six decades? Feel free to comment.
Need help remembering Bush's achievements? Here's George Bush's official White House bio. (It's also offered in Spanish, a language spoken by many key voters and some Bush family members, too!) Here's the evolving Wikipedia biography. Here's a satirical biography.
And here's a Bush-related post from last December.
