One of the highlights of my 30+ years of Broadway shows was seeing Liza and Chita in Chicago. (Gwen Verdon had to temporarily leave the show for illness for a few weeks, and Liza took her role--I just happened to have previously bought tickets for a performance in that period.)
But I still wanted to see Chita and Gwen together, so I went again later. But that night Chita was out sick, so I never actually got to see them together.
