Good going, Gary--you nailed it! Dating back to 1872, the water tower at Highbridge Park overlooks the old aqueduct connecting Westchester's Croton River and Manhattan.
Here's a great page of water tower views. There are occasional tours of the tower and well as the area around High Bridge; once I was even able to walk on (but not in) the bridge, which is normally blocked to all kinds of traffic.
