CARTOON CAPTION/ANTI-CAPTION CONTESTS CONTINUE!

Yes, you read correctly: The Anti-Caption Contest is back--and "better than evah," says its computer-ravaged czar, Dan Radosh!

As far as The New Yorker is concerned, Caption Contest #68 (assembly line topping cars with creme) turned out to be a good one for New Jersey. The winning caption is
"It was a big seller until we had to recall the cherries."
Lou Storey (Long Branch, NJ)
Congrats to Lou on tying Massachusetts for fourth place with five wins each!

Recent contests have actually been very good to the East Coast--and Contest #70 (woman talking to hairy guy watching TV) will be no exception. Here are the contenders:
"They do say results will vary."
Elizabeth Seeley (New Haven, CT)

"That actor looks exactly like you!"
David Green (Fairfield, CT)

"I thought it sounded reputable. He's also a member, for crying out loud!"
Gabriel Fischer (Albany, NY) [no relation]
My loser, inspired on perceiving the hair as being shrub-like:
"Why don't you write the President and see if you're related?"

Caption Contest #72 is here. Anti-Caption Contest #72 is here.
