POST 1701 (+ 1). My blog counter tells me I just hit post 1701 (thank you thank you thank you!), so I figure I'd better put a rocket in my pocket and share the Star Trek-related photos I took at Rockefeller Center the other day.
You see, Trek-stuff for the Christie's auction (which ends today) was arranged for viewing in a few places in the Rockefeller Center underground concourse. (Likely of more interest to the masses: A Star Trek exhibit just opened at the Museum of the Moving Image.)
Anyway, here's a shot of some ship called the Lakota--with the Galileo shuttle in the background!
And here's a poor shot featuring a control console and a uniform that I'm pretty sure is from some manifestation of Star Trek: The Next Generation. I think it's the episode where Picard, decapitated, receives an injection of the Re-Animator formula. (Moments after this shot, the security guard in the background was turned into white powder by a time-traveling alien.)
