GUITARCHIKS: THE PRETENDERS. When I was in a big arena crowd watching The Pretenders in the early 1980s, I swear Chrissie Hynde looked at me straight in the eye while she was performing.

Then she shook her head no.

Oh well.

Now my friend Ben tells me that Pretenders and Pretenders II are finally remastered on CD.
