MOVIES FOR CHEAPSKATES: BABEL. The New York Observer and Paramount Vantage are offering run-of-engagement passes to Babel.

With a title that alludes to a story that has often been used to "explain" the diversity of languages, Babel stars Cate Blanchett, Gael Garcia Bernal, and some guy named Brad Pitt. The movie is directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu.
