Is this the Intrepid air craft carrier which is stuck in the mud in the Hudson River? With of course, a tugboat or other assistive water craft in the foreground?
Congrats, David! I was viewing the attempt to liberate the Intrepid from the Hudson River bed so that it can undergo maintenance at another location. In the foreground is a large scoop that's being used to remove the silt and dump it onto a barge. The entire endeavor is a challenging and very expensive operation that I recommend you witness if you have even the slightest amount of interest in such things. It's not every day you can see an aircraft carrier that's stuck in the mud.
I could be a stickler on this and demand that my location be identified as Pier 84--the increasingly attractive pier south of the Intrepid. But I'll let that go this time and give the point to David. I hope that's okay with everyone!

Were you in Red Hook near where the Queen Mary docks?
No, I wasn't.

Were you "in" the East River?
