Gallery expert Eric has thoughtfully informed me (and, in turn, you, dear reader) that Nellie McKay will appear on Letterman tonight, promoting this February 1 Brooklyn Philharmonic concert featuring McKay, Laurie Anderson, Joan Osborne, and Suzanne Vega. (What a night that'll be for music in NYC: There will also be a Gotham Chamber Opera performance of Il Signor Bruschino and, at MOMA, a 6 pm screening of The Mission, introduced by Ennio Morricone. And I'm sure there will be one or two other interesting gigs somewhere else in Town, too.)
