WHERE WAS I? As usual, it's somewhere in the five boroughs. Leave your guesses in the comments section.

Beekman Theater?
Steven Kasher Gallery?
Gary is warmer than Debbie.
Film Forum?
Clearview Chelsea Cinema on 23rd and 8th Avenue?
So far Scott is the warmest.
The Waverly IFC center?
No warmer, I'd say.
The Angelika?
I think that's a little warmer, Gary.
circle in the square?
Brrrr! The chill is on, Gary. Cold.
well, I pulled up an old map when circle in the square was listed at the corner of thompson and bleeker. oops. So, I'll just see if I'm narrowing the location with the Thompson/Bleeker intersection.
I could guess the New School's Actors Studio that this old map lists on this corner. I'm afraid that this map is so old that this is out of date too. I think that name was changed and likely the location.
Katz's Deli?
Debbie, you're a tad warmer...but I should be clear about this: Everyone's pretty cool so far.
Everyone (including you--yeah, you): See if you can get more out of the clues.
OK, let's jump the pond and notice that both celebrities are from Brooklyn and possibly enshrined at the BAMcinematek @ BAMRoseCinemas. What say?
Dolph, I say that, between you and the rest of the crew, you're significantly warmer!
I've never been inside the old chicken factory but could it be the Brooklyn Heights Cinema?
Dolph, that looks just a little cooler to me.
The Flatbush Pavillion Theatre, closed in 2004, has recently opened as an American Apparel store. They have pictures in the windows of "Generation Next" kids in their underware. Could they be honoring two of Brooklyn's finest inside?
Dolph, that's also about as warm/cool as your previous guesses....
I'll try another borough, were you at the Museum of the Moving Image?
It's obviously the Cobble Hill Cinema on Court Street.
Dolph was masterful in zeroing in on Brooklyn, but Dave applied the swoop de grace by guessing the Cobble Hill Cinemas. Congrats, Dave! Dolph...you're definitely due for a big win!!
Portraits of Woody Allen and Barbra Streisand adorn the walls of the moviehouse, but there is also space for motion picture favorites who weren't made in Brooklyn, including cartoon characters and a Nebraska native whose picture I've added above.
As you probably know, The Film Forum is wrapping up a Woody Allen festival. David Rakoff has been covering it at great length.
