THURSDAY MIRTH Last night, as I strolled through the theater district, I spotted Angela Lansbury signing autographs. Then, today, I received an email referring to the novel Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl. So perhaps it is not surprising that my thoughts have turned to a classic scene from the Danny Kaye vehicle The Court Jester.
The clip starts a little slow, but the payoff is worth it. And it's going out with best birthday wishes for Emily and Scott. (Click here to check out an exciting new team endeavor by Scott and Debbie!)

Wow, David! Very sweet of you to link to our "new endeavor" and unbelievable that you remembered Scott's birthday!
Thanks for the birthday shout-out David!
Why, thank you! A nice way to start off a wet, icky morning, to see this! Showed it to Max, who also liked it.
