As usual, it's in one of the five boroughs. Anyone can play. Leave your guesses in the comments section—and have fun!

I'm not sure I've got the energy but... Spring & Elizabeth?
Aw, Debbie, thanks! I wasn't at Spring & Elizabeth, but I sure appreciate the effort.
Pacing. That'll get you through!
Williamsburg?
Cooler, Gary. Good to "see" ya!
Is it a school?
No, Debbie, it's not a school.
Okay, back to general location. Is it in the East Village?
Nope--not in the East Village.
Though you're definitely getting into the spirit, Debbie.
noho?
I actually meant to type nolita. sorry.
Gary, your guesses have something in common: No.
ok funny boy, it is back to basics for me, were you in Manhattan?
Yes, Gary!
Bathrooms in the Port Authority?
No...shudder...but you're getting warmer.
I'm going to have to get a little John McEnroe on you soon...
Is the graffiti significant to the location? I mean the writings themselves.
Yes and no, Debbie.
Thanks for the McEnroe warning!
Although I was quite tempted to simply send one of your pictures to Tylah Cryons, who is a 15 years old male from Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania (according to myspace), and ask where he was on 4/28/07 when he wrote this, I have refrained.
Instead, were you at Madison Sq Garden?
You definitely should have done that, Gary! That's very funny...and clever.
Okay, back to my guess: Chelsea?
Gary, I too am impressed by your inspired research. But so far Debbie's Port Authority guess is the warmest.
North of 47th Street?
No, Debbie.
Were you west of 8th Ave?
No, Gary.
were you at a theater?
Yes, Gary!
The Nederlander theater?
ooo debbie got it!
i would've recognized the shade of green
Oh, you guys are just amazing! This was a kind of slow-walking race...and Debbie emerged triumphant, but let's also give Gary a hand for being a key part of the process.
This might've seemed like a two-person contest, but I totally believe Myra when she writes that she would've gotten it. So, in a way, Debbie won by an hour! Any slower and Myra would've swooped, I'm sure.
So I took photos of the front of the theater that is home to Rent. Y'all got the flavor of it early on, with all those boho guesses. I could have taken shots of lots of scrawlings that were very Rent related, but I didn't want to overdo that. Still, if you look at the writing on the wall in the fourth picture, you'll see a reference to Syosset, Long Island native Idina Menzel, who played Maureen Johnson in Rent.
The original Roger and Mark--Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp--are to return for performances from July 30 through September 9, 2007.
