I know, I know. It really seems like if the answer isn't varicose veins in my calf (which is bleating as I write this), then it must be Chelsea.

Hey...whaddaya know? I've been found by a newbie—and I mean that in the best possible sense!
Congrats to the decloaked Janet Bell, who located me at MOMA (and, incidentally, didn't call it the MOMA or the MoMA)!
I was at the excellent and thoroughly enjoyable Richard Serra show, which runs through September 10, 2007. The two shots here are details of the oxidized steel utilized by the artist.
I plan to cover the show and share more images soon. But, before that, you'll see the latest standings, which are coming up shortly.
That is so amazing! I live in Calgary, Alberta, but I was in NYC last week and had 1/2 hour to see the Richard Serra show. It obviously made an impression!

You see? It pays to visit NYC! I'm sorry I missed you, though. What were your trip highlights? (I mean, the ones you can share with strangers online.)
Wow. I've been to the show three times already and I don't know if it's the color on my monitor, but I'm really impressed that Janet was able to see those images as the Serra sculptures. Congrats!
Of course, it could be my cameraphone. Wait 'til you see those other shots, though....
HIghlights--so many. Richard Serra for sure, the Cooper Hewitt, the Poiret exhibit at the Met, the 50% off sale at APC on Mercer, the best lemon tart at Balzhazar, the Wolf Hahn show at Ameriger/Yohe, dinner at Fatty Crab.

Wow, JB--you're a real Bell About Town! What are your top suggestions for New Yawkers visiting Calgary?
For New Yorkers visiting Calgary, I would suggest driving to the Rocky Mountains, just about 1 hour away (60 miles) and visit some beautiful places like Banff and Lake Louise. It's very easy to connect with nature and all it's wonders up here.
Ah, yes. That's actually on my long list, so I appreciate the reinforcement!

I also concur with Janet about the Canadian Rockies. I did this last fall (for the second time) and they truly are incredible and definitely one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
It's like I've been thinking lately: It wouldn't be Calgary without the gary!
