Tickets are now on sale for September's Gotham Chamber Opera production of Astor Piazzolla's tango operita Maria de Buenos Aires.

I've previously covered it here, but I didn't note that there's a strain in the work that seems straight out of Cole Porter's I Get a Kick Out of You—in the best possible sense.
