WFMU TURNS FIFTY!

WFMU is having a very special fundraising marathon, as it's celebrating its Fiftieth Anniversary!

So far a personal highlight was hearing DJs Irwin Chusid and Doug Schulkind talk about how unbearable some of the programming can be. You don't hear that kind of frankness on just any radio station!

Coming up this evening, from 5 to 8 EST: Yo La Tengo fields phone calls and takes requests!

Coming to Austin, Texas on March 14, 2008: A WFMU showcase at Spiro's!
