SHRED IT IF YOU CAN! Today I wondered: Was I dreaming, or had I seen Frank Abagnale (the con artist-turned-security-expert whose life inspired the movie Catch Me If You Can) promoting New York City's first free shredding event?

I wasn't dreaming! This Sunday, the city will host Shred Fest NYC, enabling New Yorkers to shred documents for free at 11 locations all over the city!

This sounds sooo much better than the city's recycling events, which take place in only five locations. I only wish I'd heard about it sooner. And I hope the weather holds out. And I hope the masses of shredders aren't overwhelming!
