I love the Kinks! I think I like The Kinks are the Village Green Preservation Society the best. They used a few these songs in the soundtrack for Hot Fuzz. It worked really well.
For some reason I'm inspired to do a little sharing myself.
In college, I knew someone for whom a particular Kinks album was his "sex music." So whenever he was with a lady, there was a good chance that the album would be playing, on and on. (Maybe it was on eight-track.) Eventually this kind of took some of the fun out of the album for me--but probably not for him! Still, I like the Kinks.
