Celebrated choreographer Mark Morris will bring his magic touch to the Gotham Chamber Opera for a production of Joseph Haydn's L'isola disabitata (The Desert Island) (1779) running February 18-28, 2009.
It's a four-person opera revolving around two sisters on a desert island. Big sister Costanza has raised li'l sis Silvia to hate men. But then a man arrives—and the plot thickens!
