Now that White Dog is readily available on DVD in the United States, how about doing the same for some movies by Ken Russell? One of my favorites is Mahler (1974). Here's a kooky yet coherent sequence revolving around Mahler's career-advancing conversion to Christianity and relationship with Cosima Wagner (Antonia Ellis). Robert Powell plays Mahler.
