CARTOON CAPTION/ANTI-CAPTION/CROSSWORD CONTESTS CONTINUE!

California prevails in Caption Contest #89 (lion on phone in lion-tamer's cage):
"How many times do I have to tell you, don't call me at work!"
Chris Weaver (Kelsey, CA)

In Caption Contest #91 (motorcycle cop writing out ticket for caveman with one big wheel), the nominees are
"Yeah, yeah—and I invented the ticket."
Scott Gerschwer (Redding, CT)

"I'm going to let you off with a warning, since you have no prior history."
Chas Kikel (Cleveland Heights, OH)

"Mind if I look in the hole?"
Jennifer McLellan (Kansas City, MO)
My loser: Once again, I'll have to get back to you on that....

In Anti-Caption Contest #92 (couple encounters sea mammal begging for handouts), the winner is
"Get a job, loser!"
vance
My losers:
"Don't tell me you're out of fresh cod!"

"If you love that aquatic mammal so much, why don't you take it home, build an aquarium, contract with a food supplier, and take care of it for the rest of its life?"

"If you really want to make a difference, join the aquarium."

CARTOON CAPTION/ANTI-CAPTION CONTESTS CONTINUE!

It's March madness, I tell you! That's the only explanation I can find as to why my entry in Anti-Caption Contest #90 (old woman and harlot in shoe town)--
There was an old hooker who worked in a shoe.
She gave expert blowjobs and knew how to screw.
She gave men erections when she gave them head,
But used an old insole instead of a bed.
--didn't even earn an Honorary Mention!

The winner?
"I've got a nursery rhyme for you: There was a whore who was stealing my business and I cut her throat. Catchy, huh?"
mobuck

In Caption Contest #87 (man in stump confronts logger) the winner is
"Next time, just knock."
Sara Curcio (Glastonbury, CT)
Of the three winners from Connecticut, all are women...but Sara is the first outside of New Haven. Congrats, Sara!

In Caption Contest #89 (lion on phone while lion tamer whips another lion), the nominees are
"How many times do I have to tell you, don't call me at work!"
Chris Weaver (Kelsey, CA)

"I keep telling him, 'For God’s sake, put down the whip, she has a learning disability.'"
Bobby Gruenberg (Ann Arbor, MI)

"Yeah, I know. But who changes careers at my age?"
Joe Blevins (Arlington Heights, IL)
My loser:
"That's right, Simba: $150 for a half-hour, $250 for an hour."
