This weekend's Loser's Lounge salute to Dolly Parton looks promising. Thursday night's line-up includes Ellen Foley and Laura Cantrell. Friday night you can catch Martha Wainwright and Lianne Smith and Michael Cerveris as well as the countrified raunch of Tammy Faye Starlite. And Nick Danger. On Saturday, you can see the return of Wainwright, Smith, Cerveris, and Cantrell. And Nick Danger.

Not-to-be-underestimated singer-songwriter Dolly Parton is the recipient of the next Loser's Lounge "salute," to be held at Joe's Pub April 9-11, 2009.

Dolly wrote "I Will Always Love You"—but she also wrote "Jolene."
