PEAK WEEK

It's "peak week" for the cherry blossoms at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, which has a nifty CherryWatch Blossom Status Map for keeping track of the pink. Currently, it seems that the Japanese Garden is where the action is.

I can still remember, back in the past century, when such a map was unheard of and I returned to the garden again and again until I saw the blossoms at their finest.
