CARTOON CAPTION/ANTI-CAPTION COVERAGE CONTINUES!

Caption Contest 140 (Gahan Wilson's wagon train to spotlights) came down to two nominees from Arizona and one from New York. The winner is
"Indian casino. I'd say Comanche."
Jeremy Voas (Phoenix, AZ)
That's two wins for Arizona!

In Caption Contest 142 (Jack Ziegler's cab driving up stairs in stuffy club), the nominees are
"When you don't want one, they're everywhere."
Christopher Kemp (Rogers, AR)

"I'll concede I'm drunk, but you could have just taken my keys from me."
Mark Nebrig (Charlotte, NC)

"Why can't he take a limo like the rest of us?"
Chip Mergott (Stockton, NJ)
My loser:
"They'll do anything to avoid congestion pricing."

In Anti-Caption Contest 143 (P. C. Vey's businessman with inflatable doll), the winner is
"Yeah, actually there is an interesting story behind this. I like to fuck dolls. See ya Monday."
David John
My losers:
"Blahblahblahblahblahblahrapturereadyblahblahblahblah."

"Forget about the inflatable doll. Just forget about it, okay? What I've been trying to tell you for what feels like a week already is that last week's Anti-Caption Contest has the wrong number on it. But I just don't seem to be getting through to you.

"I don't get it. Maybe this is all a nightmare, and when I wake up everything will be all right--the number will be correct and all of us will be happy again: you and me and the inflatable doll. I sure hope so!"

CARTOON CAPTION/ANTI-CAPTION COVERAGE CONTINUES!

The winner of Caption Contest 138 (P. C. Vey's marriage counselor with water tank) is
"Get naked, jump in, and make this marriage work!"
Trent Swanson (Anchorage, AK)
That's the second win for Alaska, where, I imagine, Swanson is never far from frozen food.

In Caption Contest 140 (Gahan Wilson's covered wagon heading toward spotlights through a passd), the nominees are
"Forget Oregon. I'm going to Vegas."
Shyam Jha (Tucson, AZ)

"There's red carpets in them thar hills!"
William Binder (New York, NY)

"Indian casino. I'd say Comanche."
Jeremy Voas (Phoenix, AZ)
Interesting that this Western-themed cartoon has two nominees from Arizona. My loser:
"What did we do before E-ZPass?"

In Anti-Caption Contest 141 (Drew Dernavich's angel with big bat wings), the winner is
"Yeah, and 20 gigs more than the white!"
Heather
My losers:
"There are some things even a utility belt can't reverse, Robin."

"What do you mean, there's no Halloween in heaven?"

And congrats to Dan "Anti-Caption" Radosh on making Time's Top 25 Blogs.
