Sony Pictures Classics, The American Red Cross, and The New York Observer are offering RSVP-only New York City screening admission to The Children of Huang Shi.

Based on the true story of a British journalist and an Australian nurse who saved the lives of Chinese orphans after the Japanese occupation, The Children of Huang Shi stars Yun-Fat Chow, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Radha Mitchell, and Michelle Yeoh.

MOVIES FOR CHEAPSKATES: SUNSHINE. Fox Searchlight and The New York Observer are offering New York City screening passes to Sunshine.

Directed by Danny Boyle, Sunshine is about a mission to reignite the Sun. (For those of you who are not scientifically inclined, the process involves a lot of premium lighter fluid.) The cast includes Cillian Murphy, Michelle Yeoh, and the fittingly named Rose Byrne.
