THIS SONG IS "THIS LAND." Got time for a satirical online video? Of course you do! Here's a great parody of Woody Guthrie's "This Land is Your Land" that's been getting lots of coverage. Congratulations, Gregg and Evan Spiridellis (and your Jibjab Media team) -- this cartoon qualifies for Bushapalooza! (See May 22.)

Most people are probably unaware of the complete lyrics for "This Land is Your Land." One version can be found at Arlo Guthrie's website.

You can use this web page to tap into the July 17, 2004 installment of Laura Cantrell's fabulously folksy (and jazzy) WFMU show The Radio Thrift Shop. It includes some great music by Woody, Cisco Houston, Pete Seeger, and John Henry Faulk as well as Jack Teagarden, Fats Waller, Sidney Bechet, Slam Stewart, Kitty Wells, Buck Owens, and Les Paul and Mary Ford.
