GO FISH! Perhaps you remember Clinton Cove, location of the sculpture Private Passage. It's in Hudson River Park at West 54th Street.
Well, this summer Clinton Cove is also the site of free catch-and-release Big City Fishing each day of the week but Monday. Sometimes, I'm told, camps crowd the place on weekdays, but I visited on a weekday when, for some reason, the only fishers were some stylishly dressed women.
Here are the rods and a chart of Hudson River fish.
Clams are the bait. Don't they look yummy?
And here's Big City Fishing!
