MOVIES FOR CHEAPSKATES: TRUST THE MAN. Courtesy of The New York Observer and Fox Searchlight, you can get a pass for two to Trust the Man.
It's "A 'dramady' about rich white New Yorkers and their relationships, how they have so much time on their hands that they can't help but get into trouble and jeapardize the only thing that really matters to them. Love." [sic] And yet it's not by Woody Allen! Written and directed by Bart Freundlich, it stars Julianne Moore, David Duchovny, Billy Crudup, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Eva Mendes.
The screening will be at an uptown location on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 7:30 pm.
