MORE JOANNA NEWSOM. I'm sure we've all had our minds blown hearing musical elements combine in unusual ways. That's what a lot of listeners have experienced with Joanna Newsom. It didn't take me long to fall in love with her music--and, looking over comments on the Web, I've noticed her music has grown on a lot of other listeners, too. I'm not sure if my previous post on Newsom did her justice, so here's a really good live set on Irwin Chusid's WFMU show back on June 23, 2004. (Yes, she's a darling of WFMU.)
