ESCAPE FROM IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. I was very touched--nay, profoundly moved--by Scoboco's recent post on seeing the amazing It's a Wonderful Life at the IFC Center.

But for laughs, I recommend Escape From It's a Wonderful Life, an unaired 1996 Comedy Central special featuring contributions from Lauren Auerbach, Matt Besser, Jay Martel, Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts, Matt Walsh, and Gilbert Gottfried...and the nifty editing of David Zieff. It's divided into three segments, each about 15 minutes long.
