DINING FOR DARFUR

Restaurants participating in today's Dining for Darfur event will donate 5% of their gross sales to the International Rescue Committee’s humanitarian relief efforts to help hundreds of thousands of people uprooted by the genocide in Darfur, Sudan.

Some of the participating restaurants are famous. Some are not so famous. Among the latter grouping (but less and less so) is the up-and-coming newcomer The Farm on Adderley. Another participant is the Upper East Side Italian restaurant Lumi, which participates in the Gluten-Free Restaurant Awareness Program.
