WWW. "Just got back from China, where I traveled on trains with mounted TV sets carrying what looked like some kind of public works propaganda, to find out that Ted Turner just launched a 24 hour news channel. It doesn't take a genius to see what might come of that. I still remember when I called him 'Bobby Billboard.' Give him enough time and enough money and not enough competition from the networks and he'll have his TV sets on trains and everywhere else you can imagine, like our own version of Red China."--Excerpt from diary, dated c. June 1980, kept by Atlanta travel agent "D.M." and purchased as part of estate sale in November 1989
