WHERE WAS I? As usual, it's in one of the five boroughs. Some specificity counts. Leave your guesses in the
comments section and be sure to use a distinct moniker if you're playing for the first time.

PS1?
Winging it, without doing the puzzle, I'm going to go with the Louise Nevelson exhibit at the Jewish Museum?
Gary and Debbie, you're both cool. And I love you for that.
a gallery in Chelsea?
I think you're a tad warmer, Gary.
manhattan?
Yes, Gary!
East 50s?
Cool but warmer, Debbie.
Is this in a lobby of a business?
Yes, Gary, but not necessarily in the sense that you have in mind.
Were you in a restaurant?
No, Gary, I wasn't.
A lobby at Lincoln Center?
Very warm, Dolph!
Fordham law school?
The atrium at the Harkness Center?
Or, new lobby art at Merkin Concert Hall?
Things have gotten cooler, dudes.
Is it the Jazz at Lincoln Center in the AOL/Time Warner building?
Also cool now, Debbie.
Was Lincoln Center warm but not specific enough? How about the lobby of the New York State Theater?
Yes, Dolph. And no.
Sorry about any confusion.
Avery Fisher Hall.
Scott makes a winning swoop again!
A bonus point goes to whomever names the work and the artist.
That is, to whomever does it first.
Is it Richard Lippold?
That's about halfway there, Gary.
Is it the Orpheus and Apollo sculpture?
You made it, Gary!
The image is a detail from Richard Lippold's Orpheus and Apollo, which hangs from the ceiling outside the performance space of Avery Fisher Hall.
Orpheus and Apollo is the third Lippold sculpture to be covered in WWI? and the first for which I could use my own photography without worrying (as I so often do) about getting security workers in trouble. The other two were Flight in the MetLife Building and Winged Gamma in the Park Avenue Atrium.
