CARTOON CAPTION CONTEST CONTINUES! Despite the possibility that bicyclist Lance Armstrong might make a "comeback" after less than two months of "retirement," The New Yorker persists with its cartoon caption contest.
For Contest #15 (woman dining with big-headed guy who has an image of a woman's head on his own forehead), the winner is “Well, it's a lovely gesture, but I still think we should start seeing other people." The website says that Eric Butterfield of Chicago, Illinois is the winner, but I thought he was the one who wrote the eBay joke that lost. It's a puzzlement!
For Contest #17 (giant crows at a window), the caption contestants met the challenge and came up with some good ones. To my surprise, I'm leaning toward the relatively subtle "Yes, I tried tapping on the glass," by Rob Nieto of Kinnelon, New Jersey.
I didn't submit a caption for the crow cartoon. Your own entries and opinions are welcome here.

I had a very similar caption in mind for that forehead cartoon, but thought it was too obvious. So I made it a little odder. Mine was "I'm seeing someone else." It is a little subtle if you look at the cartoon and think about it.
