ANOTHER OSCAR NOTE. Reeling from the production number for "It's Hard Out Here For a Pimp" (below) I neglected in my Oscar Notes to salute John Canemaker for winning a gold guy (with Peggy Stern) for Best Animated Short Film with The Moon and the Son. You might remember that Canemaker gave a great presentation on Winsor McCay covered here last November.
